Terms and Conditions – Tracey Ellis Civil Celebrant

These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Tracey Ellis – Civil Celebrant. By making a booking or enquiry, you agree to these terms.

1. Booking & Payment: A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your ceremony date. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 12 weeks before the ceremony unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Payments can be made via bank transfer or another agreed method.

2. Cancellations & Refunds: If you cancel: Your deposit is non-refundable. If cancellation occurs less than 12 weeks before the ceremony, the full fee will still be payable. If I must cancel due to illness or emergency, I will: Attempt to find a suitable replacement celebrant or offer a full refund if no replacement can be arranged.

3. Ceremony Content: You will receive a draft script of your ceremony for review and approval. It is your responsibility to review and request any changes before the agreed deadline. I reserve the right to refuse any content that may be discriminatory, offensive, or illegal.

4. Client Responsibilities: You agree to provide accurate information and communicate openly during the planning process. You must obtain any necessary permissions for the venue, music, or other aspects of the ceremony. If your ceremony is running late, I will do my best to accommodate, but may need to leave after a reasonable waiting period.

5. Use of Photos & Testimonials: I may ask for your permission to share photos or testimonials on my website or social media. I will never share any ceremony photos without your and the venue’s prior written or verbal consent. Personal details (such as addresses or contact info) will never be shared publicly.

6. Limitation of Liability: While I take great care in preparing and delivering your ceremony, I am not liable for: Events beyond my control (e.g. weather, traffic, illness) Actions or services provided by third parties. My total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the celebrant services.

7. Changes to These Terms: These terms may be updated occasionally. The most current version will always be available on my website.
